As many businesses will be aware, the Government has cut all web design business grants across the country, and business grants have been withdrawn mid-project which has left many businesses struggling to pay to complete projects. There were many grants available 12 months ago such as the NESTA business grant, which was made available to help businesses innovate and develop solutions that would help businesses move forward, but unfortunately these were limited.  Sizzle Media were highly successful in delivering NESTA funded projects in the North West, and many businesses benefited from this limited web design grant.

Due to our success in delivering business grant funded projects, we are extremely pleased to say that Sizzle Media have been selected to promote and deliver a new business grant. This web design grant is similar to the NESTA grant in that it is to help businesses innovate and will be part of a selection criteria.

The basis of this web design grant is the understanding that it is small businesses that will be the strongest driver in helping the UK recover ecomonically, and that the internet will play a major part in aiding commerce to resume. Sizzle Media have been selected to deliver this grant because this is an area that we have specilaised in and core strengths reside.

As the web design grant has not officially been made available yet, we can’t provide full details. However we can say that it is available for 12 months starting from 4^th October 2010, is available nationwide and is limited to the design and development of business websites. If your business has been awarded a Creative Credits grant by NESTA, you will be aware that the deadline for submitting your proposal is now upon us. As stated on the Creative Credits website, if the proposals aren’t in by the 27th of November then £4000 grant will be withdrawn.
