As of today the Creative Credits programme - a world-first programme that helps businesses to develop their ideas by teaming up with creative firms, opens for a second wave of funding for businesses.

To find out if you are eligible for funding, you need to visit the creative credits website and complete the applications form. Your business is then entered in to a draw with all the other applications. On a successful application for Creative credits you will be required to contact a creative partner to work with, who will help you to complete the funding application.

NESTA will be announcing the second round of businesses that have been awarded NESTA Creative Credits to help businesses develop and innovate by teaming up with Creative firms such as Sizzle Media | web design Manchester.

Manchester SME’s from all sectors were given the opportunity to apply for and be awarded a £4,000 grant in the form of Creative Credits. These credits are available to be used with local creative agencies and all the lucky business has to do is put in at least £1,000 towards the project of their own money, and NESTA would top it up to the value of an additional £4,000.

The next wave of application starts very soon on February 1^st. Please email creativecredits@nesta.org.uk to find out more about the application process. But be quick, the last round of funding was snapped up very quickly.

Businesses applying for a Creative Credit must be a small or medium business. This includes having:

• 250 or less employees
• An annual turnover not exceeding £46M (equivalent to 50M Euros)

• City of Salford

• Tameside and
• Trafford (Greater Manchester South)
• Bolton
• Bury
• Oldham
• Rochdale
• Wigan (Greater Manchester North)
• Congleton
